How to Build a Pipeline of Climate-Smart Public-Private Partnerships
- ABOUT THE EVENT
- Event FAQs
The pathway to net zero requires a significant increase in global investments across infrastructure sectors and beyond, not just to mitigate greenhouse gas emissions, but also to build resilience to the climate change impact and loss already seen around the globe. Given the increased fiscal constraints of governments, Public-Private Partnerships (PPPs) that can crowd-in private sector solutions, innovation, and finance are becoming a key tool to meeting the Paris Agreement goals.
What does it take to build a pipeline of climate-smart infrastructure PPPs? How can governments translate their climate goals and commitments into viable, bankable projects? What are the challenges and opportunities that both governments and the private sector face?
Join a panel of leading industry experts as they discuss these and more key questions.
