Valeria Diaz is Co-Founder and CEO of Munay, a social fintech with the mission to help women entrepreneurs develop their businesses in a sustainable way by providing them with access to financing, training, and a community of support to achieve their goals. Munay is headquartered in Bolivia and has been recognized with several awards, including: finalist of the We-Fi-supported WeXchange Women STEMpreneurs Competition (2023); winner of the CAF Financial Inclusion Laboratory (2022) and recipient of the iImpact badge, for its contribution to SGD #5 in LatAm. Valeria is an advocate for gender inclusion and has volunteered in women’s empowerment programs in Africa and Latin America. Last year, Valeria was recognized as one of the MIT Innovators Under 35 LATAM edition.
