Patricia Zoundi Yao first learned about entrepreneurship from her mother, who worked in the informal sector. After obtaining a Master’s degree in Business Law, she set out to help rural populations gain more access to financial services. With two colleagues and a small amount of capital, she founded Quickcash, a company that makes it easier for rural people and workers in the informal sector to make money transfers. Since then, she has created two other firms: Digital Hub, in the fintech sector, which enables small vendors to accept mobile payments, and CanaanLand, which provides services to small-scale farmers.
Patricia has received a number of awards for her business achievements. These include the Chevalier de l’Ordre National et du Merite, the Prix Special du Premier Ministre Côte d’Ivoire, and the Prix National d’Excellence de la Presidence de la Republique.
