Uche Ekhator Mobayode works as an Economist with the Global Gender Group at the World Bank where she contributes to several programs that support policy discussion around gender issues. Her work includes serving as the Global Gender Group’s Regional Liaison for countries in MENA where she supports country teams with global knowledge on what works to improve gender outcomes. She also works on efforts to improve the accessibility and usability of sex-disaggregated data and gender statistics through data stories via the World Bank’s Gender Data Portal among other things. Uche holds a master’s degree in applied probability and a PhD in economics from Northern Illinois University, USA.
