Dr. Zeinabou Hadari is the Deputy Chief of Staff in the Office of the Prime Minister of Niger. In this capacity, she is responsible for the day-to-day planning and management of the administrative, financial, and operational activities. She is also in charge of diplomatic and representation functions, liaising with the media, civil society organizations, the private sector, and traditional and religious leaders. 

 

Prior to this position, Dr. Hadari was Senior Advisor to the Prime Minister, responsible for public health, social and humanitarian affairs. As part of these functions, she coordinated the ministry's efforts to improve access to health care and coordinate the humanitarian response in areas affected by crises. She has also served as Advisor to the Prime Minister for Small and Medium Enterprises, Industry, Tourism and Gender Equality. 

 

In 2020, she was appointed as a member of the Advisory Group for the United Nations Central Emergency Response Fund (CERF). In 2010, she founded the Centre Reines Daura, an organization dedicated to promoting women rights in Niger. Through training programs and workshops in the field, the association has contributed to the empowerment of women by supporting the intellectual, social, cultural and economic development of women and girls in Africa, and in Niger in particular. 

 

Dr. Hadari holds a doctorate in history from Temple University (Philadelphia) and a master's degree in the same discipline from the University of Niamey (Niger).
