Victoria Ibiwoye is a global education advocate, trainer and peacebuilding specialist. As the founder of OneAfricanChild, she has dedicated herself to empowering underserved children and youth in Nigeria through transformative global citizenship and peace education programs. Victoria has spoken and contributed to several high-level education dialogues on education, working with institutions such as UNESCO and the Global Partnership for Education to develop impactful strategies for engaging and fostering meaningful youth participation. She used her position as the first-ever youth representative to the SDG4 High-level Steering Committee (HLSC) to launch the SDG4Youth network, a youth and student-led network engaging with decision-makers at the high-level to shape global education policies and take action to realize the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. Victoria holds a Master’s degree in Sustainable Peacebuilding from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and currently works with the Office of the UN Secretary-General’s Envoy on Youth (OSGEY) on the implementation of the Youth Force project focused on Financing a Green, Inclusive and Sustainable Recovery from COVID-19.
