Although Theodore is schooled in Architecture and Urban Area Development, his entrepreneurial drive has led him to join the Dutch government. For the past 8 years he has supported the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and various Dutch embassies in understanding the challenges of the local youth and advise them accordingly with programs and policies. He has invented a.o. the Orange Corners program and the Orange Corners Innovation fund, a program enabling environments (in 18+ countries) for entrepreneurs and assisting young (aspiring) entrepreneurs in setting up their businesses. Almost 1000 entrepreneurs are assisted annually. It is co-funded by 55+ private partners. He was also responsible for the development of the first Meaningful Youth Participation Toolkit of the Ministry in order to ensure the voices of the youth are adequately integrated into the Dutch MFA policy and action framework.
Currently Theodore is working as a senior policy officer at the Dutch MFA on the development a large-scale program on TVET & Higher Education. He has large experience in African (36) and Middle Easter (8) countries, with a strong passion for impact and decent economic growth with attention to climate change.
