Tjedu is the Founder and Executive Director at Lunia Centre for Youths-Zimbabwe, an organization that identifies as a hub where young people can collaboratively drive change in the field of climate change and public health while mainstreaming gender equality.

Tjedu is an activist, an advocate, and a knowledgeable, friendly facilitator. She graduated (Nov 2022) with an Hons BSc Degree: Geography and Population Studies at Lupane State University in Zimbabwe. Her three thematic areas are Public Health, Climate Change, and Gender Equality. She has over 5 years of experience in strengthening community health systems through working with Health Centre Committees (HCCs), Village Health Workers (VWH), and Peer Educators. She also has experience in coordinating community led public health monitoring and evaluation projects: Tjedu has worked extensively as a Programs Officer for Non-Governmental Organizations. As a young person, she has a strong bias towards meaningful youth engagement and identifies youth as key, capable drivers of change.
