As Inclusive Education-Technical Advisor at HI, Ms. Subekshya Karki has been working in the education sector for the past seven years. Ms. Karki has been working closely with the government, working groups, civil society and organizations of persons with disabilities to ensure that inclusive education, particularly for children with disabilities, is a focus area, including in the areas of curriculum, teacher pedagogy, teaching and learning materials, assessment and textbooks. In her current role as an Inclusive Education Technical Advisor at HI, she has been involved in developing proposal and concept notes on Inclusive Education, providing technical support in developing strategies and policies for Inclusive Education in Nepal and representing HI in different national education forums and networks.
