Solomon Asamoah currently serves as Vice President for Infrastructure, Private Sector and Regional Integration at the African Development Bank, where his responsibilities include the Bank’s Private Sector Operations; development and funding of Financial Markets & Private Equity Funds; NEPAD and Regional Integration; as well as the implementation of sustainable Infrastructure programs throughout Africa. These activities represent over 70% of the AfDB's operations. Prior to this, Mr. Asamoah served as Deputy Chief Executive Officer and the Chief Investment Officer of the AFC. Mr. Asamoah also served as Executive Manager of Private Sector and International Investments at Development Bank of Southern Africa from October 1, 2007 to December 12, 2007. He served as a staff member of DBSA from December 1, 2004 to December 7, 2007. He has worked in various investment advisory capacities within Softbank Emerging Markets, HSBC Markets and the International Finance Corporation (IFC). He has over 20 years’ experience in Investment Banking and Management. He serves as a Director of Main One Cable Company Nigeria Ltd. Mr. Asamoah graduated from Imperial College, London and holds a Master’s Degree in Chemical Engineering.
