Saada Mkuya Salum currently serves as Minister of Finance for Tanzania. Upon her appointment in January 2014, she became the second woman since the country’s independence to lead the Finance Ministry. She previously served as Member of Parliament and deputy finance minister. Before this, she served as commissioner for external finance in the Zanzibar government.
