Sujeev Shakya is the Chair of the Nepal Economic Forum and the CEO of Beed Management, an international management and advisory firm based in Kathmandu, working across Asia and Africa. He also serves as the Senior Advisor for Bhutan and Nepal at Bower Group Asia, a US-based strategic advisory firm. Prior to that, Mr. Shakya dedicated 20 years to working with one of Nepal’s largest business groups, including serving as its Group President.
With over 25 years of experience in writing columns focused on economic and development issues, he has authored six books, including "Unleashing Nepal" and "Unleashing the Vajra," published by Penguin India. As a Hubert H. Humphrey Fellow, he is a Senior Fellow at the National University of Singapore's Institute of South Asian Studies (NUS-ISAS). Mr. Shakya has a Certificate in Coaching from Columbia University and a Diploma in International Marketing from Boston University.
