Ryadh M. Alkhareif is the Deputy Minister for International Affairs at the Ministry of Finance of Saudi Arabia. Prior to this, he was the Alternate Executive Director for Saudi Arabia at the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the Head of the Studies Division at the Saudi Central Bank (SAMA), respectively. Mr. Alkhareif’s research focuses on monetary policy design and he co-authored with William Barnett a book in the field; he also published extensively in peer-reviewed journals on similar topics. Mr. Alkhareif is a member of the Society for Economic Measurement in the USA, and the Saudi Economic Association. In August 2014, he received the Lindau Nobel Laureate Meeting in Economic Sciences Young Researcher Award. Mr. Alkhareif holds a double Master's degree in Economics from both the University of Oregon and the University of Kansas, and a Doctorate in Economics from the University of Kansas. Read more
