Nozipho joined the CNBC Africa team in 2013 as an anchor and producer now delivering five business television offerings to 48 African countries.
Previously, Nozipho spearheaded the Tata Group’s Marketing and Branding portfolio for Africa overseeing the corporate brand in 13 African countries. Nozipho has also served as the General Manager for Umlambo Foundation, a foundation established by South Africa’s first female Deputy President, Phumzile Mlambo-Ngcuka, with the mandate to improve the leadership and management capacity of underperforming rural schools.
Before entering the NGO world, Nozipho worked in the Presidency where she first cut her teeth on the working of government and public administration. She is an International Relations and Diplomacy graduate from the University of London with earlier degrees from the University of Pretoria.
An active toastmaster and founder of Akwande Communications, she is one of South Africa’s gems in the communications arena.
