Mohamed Boussaid was born in 1961 in Fes. He holds a degree of engineering and an MBA from the International School of Business. From 1986 to 1992, Boussaid was a consulting engineer in the Banque Commerciale du Maroc. From 1994 to 1995, he was in charge of the portfolio of major enterprises directorate at the Banque Marocaine du Commerce et de l'Industrie. Boussaid also served from 1995 to 1998 as head of the office of the Minister of Public Works and head of the office of the Minister of Agriculture, Infrastructure and Environment.
