Maya Horgan Famodu is a venture capital investor and ecosystem architect. Ingressive, her first company, is a market entry and market operations firm that has assisted more than 50 top investment funds and corporations enter and operate Sub-Saharan Africa. Through this company, her team has launched Ingressive Campus Ambassadors and a series of other initiatives that target the developer, designer and tech founder community in key markets across Sub-Saharan Africa, driving technical products, training, and/or funding to more than 10,000 members across the continent. Ingressive Capital, a $5 million venture fund, was launched 1.5 years ago in partnership with many of Ingressive’s partners and clients. The fund provides a feeder fund where 60%+ of its limited partner base run later stage funds and accelerators, thus providing access to international investment for companies in Ingressive Capital’s portfolio.
