Marina Dimova is a designer with 14 years of experience developing, operationalising and scaling innovative solutions to drive social impact. She uses insights from behavioral science and technology innovation to build effective women-centered products and services, and embed innovation into teams and organisations. As a Managing Director of Design and Innovation at Women’s World Banking, she has transformed the solution design process for the organisation, leads the design of women-centered financial services and products, and teaches design and innovation workshops for financial service providers in emerging markets.

Marina’s designs have focused on increasing the take up and usage of financial products and improving the financial management behaviours of low-income clients. Prior to Women’s World Banking, she was a Vice President at ideas42, where she designed, tested and scaled products, processes and programs in consumer finance, international development and financial inclusion. Before that, she led strategy for a social enterprise to develop a new approach to youth employment programmes in West Africa. She has also worked on agricultural value chains and private sector development at the World Bank, and in finance and healthcare consulting. Marina holds an MPA in International Development from Harvard Kennedy School, and a BA in Economics and Government from Franklin & Marshall College.
