Mr. Leonard Nxumalo is the Chief Executive Officer of the Water Utilities Corporation (WUC) in Botswana. He is responsible for the successful leadership and management of the Corporation in the supply of water and wastewater services in both the urban and rural villages across the whole country.
Mr. Nxumalo joined WUC in 2014 at a critical period when the Corporation is undergoing major transformation as a result of the Water Sector Reform. He also joins the Corporation at a time when the country is facing serious water and wastewater challenges due to drought situation that has never experienced before in Botswana.
Mr. Nxumalo brings with him a wealth of experience gained during a career spanning over 20 years executing various transformation projects in various industries, in Swaziland, Zambia, Nigeria and Botswana.
Mr. Nxumalo holds a Master of Public Management Degree from Carnegie Mellon University in the USA.
