Lamia Mansour is a Senior Environmental Specialist, in the Environment, Natural Resources and Blue Economy Global Practice, working in the Middle East and North Africa region of the World Bank. Lamia is based in Beirut and is working on the Environment Portfolio of the Bank in Lebanon. She has over 20 years of professional experience in environmental management and sustainable development. She worked in several international agencies including UNDP, EU and GIZ in the management and implementation of environmental programs, focusing on natural resources management, solid waste management, mitigation and adaptation to climate change, and sustainable land management. She has worked in Lebanon and in several countries in the Middle East, Central Asia and North Africa. Lamia has a Ph.D. and an M.Sc. in Environmental Management from Leeds University, UK, and a B.Sc. in Environmental Health from the American University of Beirut, Lebanon.
