Lama Mghames is a consultant in the Environment, Natural Resources and Blue Economy Global Practice, working in the Middle East and North Africa region of the World Bank. Lama is currently a core team member of the Lebanon Environment team. She has more than 18 years of experience in environmental projects management and an extensive practice in analyzing, drafting, and assessing environmental legislation, policies, strategies, and incentives. Lama works on the integrated solid waste management while focusing on sound environmental management of hazardous waste and chemicals. She holds a MSc in Environmental Management and Legislation from Brunel University in UK and undergraduate degree in Environmental Science.
