Ms. Khadeeja Naseem is currently the Minister of State for Environment, Climate Change and Technology in the Maldives. As State Minister, Ms. Naseem oversees the policies and work related to Climate Change and Energy. Prior to her appointment as State Minister, Ms. Naseem had worked on various developmental projects in the Maldives funded by the World Bank and the UNDP. She also has extensive experience in Climate Finance, and Disaster risk management. Ms. Naseem holds an undergraduate degree in Human Ecology from college of the Atlantic, USA and a Masters of Environment in Climate policy from the University of Melbourne, Australia.
