Jackie Tront, an American national, is a Senior Water Resources Management Specialist with the World Bank. Her work has focused primarily on water systems, climate adaptation in the water sector and advancing cooperation in transboundary waters, working with clients in Africa and the Middle East. She has led and contributed to operationally-focused analytical work in climate resilience, water quality, dams and storage, institutional strengthening, political economy, and leveraging innovative technology for development. Prior to joining the Bank, Jackie was with the United States Government, focusing on international water and environment policy. Jackie is a civil and environmental engineer by training, focus on water resources and water quality and she earned her B.S. M.S. and Ph.D. in civil and environmental engineering at Georgia Tech in Atlanta, GA, USA. In her spare time, Jackie enjoys spending time camping and hiking with her family.
