Fulbert Tchana Tchana is a World Bank Senior Economist. Since joining the Bank in 2013, he has worked on analytical, advisory, capacity building, and lending operations in the Middle East and Africa, supporting clients in the areas of economic modeling, growth and productivity analytics, economic and trade diversification, oil revenue management, subsidies reform and regional integration. Prior to joining the Bank, he worked as an Economist for Cameroon’s government, an assistant professor of economics at the University of Cape Town, South Africa, and a macro-modeling economist for the Finance Department of Quebec, Canada. He has published articles in peer-reviewed journals including the World Bank Economic Review, the Journal of Banking and Finance, and Emerging Markets Review. A Cameroonian national, he holds a doctorate in economics from the University of Montreal, Canada.
