Friederike Röder is France director at ONE and also the global lead for the G7 and G20. ONE is a campaigning and advocacy organisation of more than seven million people around the world taking action to end extreme poverty and preventable disease, particularly in Africa. Prior to joining ONE in 2011, Friederike worked for the OECD, the German International Cooperation (GIZ), and the Arab Reform Initiative, focusing on governance, state building and engagement with fragile states. She also spent two years in South Africa, as a technical advisor to the African Union, in particular NEPAD and the Pan-African Parliament. Friederike holds a Master’s from Sciences Po Paris and one from the Freie Universität Berlin. She’s a member of the Young Leaders’ Network launched as part of the Partnership with Africa Initiative by former German President Horst Köhler.
Friederike Röder est directrice France à ONE et directrice internationale pour le G7 et le G20. ONE est une organisation internationale de campagne et de plaidoyer soutenue par plus de 7 millions de personnes dans le monde qui agissent pour en finir avec l’extrême pauvreté et les maladies évitables, particulièrement en Afrique. Avant de rejoindre ONE en 2011, Friederike a travaillé pour l’OCDE, la Coopération internationale allemande (GIZ) et pour la Arab Reform Initiative. Elle s’est spécialisée sur les questions de gouvernance, renforcement de l’Etat et l’engagement avec les Etats fragiles. Pendant deux ans, elle était conseillère technique de l’Union africaine, notamment du NEPAD et du Parlement panafricain, basé en Afrique du Sud. Elle est diplômée de Sciences Po Paris et de la Freie Universität Berlin. Elle est membre du Young Leaders’ Network qui avait été lancé dans le cadre du Partenariat avec l’Afrique de l’ancien Président allemand Horst Köhler.
