Florent is an Economist at the Climate Change Group. He holds a Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics from the University of Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne. His work focuses on macroeconomics and climate policy. Florent joined us from the French Development Agency in Paris, where he focused on assessing the impacts of climate change on macroeconomic and financial systems at the national and global levels. He develops modelling tools to better understand the co-benefits of climate policies at the macro level. In recent years, he has applied his tools in Brazil and Côte d'Ivoire and has published several articles in peer-reviewed journals.
