Fernando Pfannl is a civic and political leader with over 30 years of experience
 working on issues related to democratic reform, community organizing, and
 international development. He has held various public sector positions in Paraguay,
 including Senator, Minister of Planning for Economic and Social Development,
 Ambassador of Paraguay to the United States of America, Chief of Staff of the Mayor
 of Asunción, and Chief of Staff to the Vice President of Paraguay. Pfannl is a
 senior advisor and strategist at Fundación Paraguaya, where he is leading the
 organization’s Poverty Stoplight Initiative in the Cerrito community. He holds
 degrees in sociology and political and social economy from Université Paris X–Nanterre.
