Fernando is currently a Water and Sanitation (WSS) Consultant at the World Bank’s Water Global Practice. He is a team member working on operational projects in Ethiopia, where he is helping mainstream resilience into the water and sanitation sector, particularly at utilities. Moreover, he is part of the Water Secure Cities team where he is contributing to the development of a diagnostic tool and knowledge platform to support operations teams to promote water security in different cities. Fernando holds a Masters of Public Administration in Development Practice from Columbia University and is an Ecuadorian national.
