Eric LeCompte is the Executive Director of Jubilee USA Network, a development coalition of more than 700 religious groups and U.S. organizations. In 2016, his Congressional testimony on Puerto Rico informed debt-crisis legislation that Congress passed. LeCompte has also advised a United Nations General Assembly process on global sovereign bankruptcy structures to alleviate poverty. He is a member of expert working groups to the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD) and the United Nations Human Rights Office of the High Commissioner.
