Since joining the FT in 1999, Crooks has served as energy editor, UK news editor and economics editor based in London. Before this, he was an economics correspondent for the BBC, reporting on television and radio. Crooks has served as a reporter and editor for Investors Chronicle, as well as an economic analyst for the Institute for Fiscal Studies.
