Dyogo Henrique de Oliveira, 41, a native of Araguaína-TO, is an economist with a Master’s Degree from the University of Brasilia. He is also an accredited specialist in Public Policy and Government Administration from the Brazil’s National School of Public Administration (ENAP) since 1998 and an accredited specialist in Foreign Trade, International Negotiations and Exchange from the Getulio Vargas Foundation (FGV).
From 2000 to 2005, he executed several responsibilities in the Department of Industrial Technology of the Ministry of Development, Industry and Foreign Trade. From 2006 to 2007, he started as the General Coordinator of Sector Analysis in the Secretariat for Economic Monitoring and later as the General Coordinator in the Department of Economic Policy of the Ministry of Finance. From 2008-2011, he held the Deputy Secretary position in the Department of Economic Policy of the Ministry of Finance. From 2011-2014, he served as Deputy Executive Secretary and acting Executive Secretary of the Ministry of Finance. He was appointed Executive Secretary of the Ministry of Planning, Budget and Management in January 2015. From January 2016 until May 2016, he was Executive Secretary of the Ministry of Finance. He is currently the Minister of Planning, Development and Management. Among other accolades, as a representative of the Union Federal Government, he was a member of the Boards of Directors in several banks and companies such as FUNPRESP, BDMG, Senac, BNDES, IRB, Valley, BNB, Cobra / BB, FI-FGTS and BRASILCAP.
