Claudia Belmont has recently been named Country Manager at Belcorp, a leading beauty direct-sales company, with presence in 15 countries in Latin America. Previously she held the position of Director of Corporate Sales where she created a segmented Value Proposition allowing for more targeted growth initiatives for the over one million women beauty representatives. She focused company’s resources on developing, coaching, and training entrepreneurial skills to allow these women to grow their beauty businesses and become more economically empowered. She also help designed a Loyalty Program and launched the first online community for women entrepreneurs in Latin America to foster shared learning of our representatives and aid them in reaching their goals. Formerly she was Director of Social and Environmental Innovation where she spent five years dedicated to designing, piloting and implementing double bottom line initiatives in several countries in the region, financially including over 200,000 women with one of the three products developed: insurance, credit and/or savings. She has also contributed to decreasing Belcorp’s environmental footprint by 30,000 tons of CO2 in its operations, resulting in over $1 million of savings for the company. Prior, she held various positions at Belcorp, including financial analyst, marketing brand manager, leadership and culture manager, and Zone Manager. Belmont earned an MBA with a specialization in Strategy and Decision Sciences from the Kellogg School of Management of Northwestern University and a BS in Public Policy and Management from the Wharton School of Business of the University of Pennsylvania.
