Arno Fontaine co-founded ThinkCity initiative in September 2021. Originally from France, he lived in Jakarta for two years and decided to bring together several stakeholders (group of street-artists, local foundation and production team) to respond the environmental and social crisis experienced by hundreds of thousands of people affected by increasingly extreme floods in northern Jakarta.
The aim of ThinkCity is to use street-art and original installation to raise public awareness on the dramatic situation of the sinking of the city and to support vulnerable communities living in these areas. A main event took place in October 2022 and was followed by art courses and educational trainings for children and teenagers of the communities.
