Arathi is Uber’s Regional General Manager overseeing operations in the US & Canada for JUMP. She and her team’s focus is on bringing riders more affordable and reliable methods of transportation through the Uber platform. Arathi began her career at Uber by launching and running new markets. Since then, she has grown and managed Uber in cities across the US & Canada. Prior to Uber, Arathi held leadership positions in media, corporate development and finance. She began her career in investment banking at Deutsche Bank in NYC. She later transitioned to ImpreMedia, LLC, reporting to the CEO and playing a key role in two acquisitions as well as the launch of the company’s digital business. After business school, Arathi worked as Director, Digital Products at National Geographic where she drove monetization efforts and business strategy across products and acted as a strategic adviser to the President of Publishing & Digital Media. She holds an MBA from the Wharton School and a bachelor's degree from Georgetown University where she graduated magna cum laude. Arathi, her husband Tushar and their two children live in Washington, DC.
