Amanda Devercelli is the Global Lead for Early Childhood Development (ECD) and works to expand and improve World Bank investments in ECD, ensure delivery of high-quality operational and analytical work and build capacity of Bank staff and clients. Amanda launched the Early Years Fellowship to build capacity of young professionals and the Early Learning Partnership (ELP), a $35 million fund that has generated more than $1.8 billion in funding to scale-up high-quality ECD services worldwide. Prior to joining the Bank, Amanda worked with community-based schools in Kenya and Peru and with several international civil society organizations. She has a Master’s Degree from the Harvard Graduate School of Education.
