Mr. Jidoud was promoted to Minister of Finance on April 7, 2021. He holds a PhD in Economics on “Structural Macroeconomics of Business Cycle Fluctuations’’. He career includes experience in several fields, including macroeconomics of development; structural and applied macro econometrics; public debt management; development of the financial sector; economic growth; and migration. Before his appointment in May 2016 as Minister Delegate to the Minister of Finance, he worked as an Economist at the International Monetary Fund (IMF) in Washington DC as Desk Economist for Comoros.
