Abdourahmane Cissé is Minister of Budget since November 2013. Since January 2013, he had held the position of Cabinet Director for Mrs Nialé Kaba, minister attached to the Prime Minister for Economy and Finance.
Prior to this, he was Advisor to the President of the Republic, in charge of Public Finances from July to December 2012. Mr. Cissé is an engineer, an Applied Maths graduate of Ecole polytechnique in Paris (2004).
Earlier in his career, he held numerous positions at Goldman Sachs International in London, including Vice President and Executive Director in charge of volatility trading on the Euro zone index.
