On the 50th anniversary of International Women’s Day, the Government of India’s Ministry of Women and Child Development and the World Bank Group are bringing together changemakers, leaders, and women achievers across STEM, business, entertainment, sports to mark the occasion. The event will celebrate the major strides that women have made across different fields in India and highlight solutions that can help unlock opportunities for women in the region and beyond.
President of India, Droupadi Murmu will deliver the keynote address, followed by a panel including Annpurna Devi, Minister of Women and Child Development of India, Arjun Ram Meghwal, Union Minister of State for Law & Justice, Anna Bjerde, Managing Director for Operations of the World Bank, and other distinguished guests.
