Sosten Alfred Gwengwe

Mr. Gwengwe first entered the Parliament in 2009, representing the Dedza Central Constituency with a mission to leave a better Malawi. Later, he served various positions in the Cabinet and Ministries, including the Ministry of Transport, Industry, and Trade. Between 2017 and 2019, he was Chairman of the Budget Committee of the Parliament. Mr. Gwengwe has a Bachelor of Accountancy from the Malawi University of Business and Applied Sciences (formerly, The Polytechnic) and a Master of Business Administration (Finance) from Oxford Brookes University of the United Kingdom. He is also a Chartered Management Accountant.
