Rose Kimeu Craigue currently serves as the World Bank Group’s Lead for Stakeholder Engagement, overseeing Civil Society, Parliamentarian and Faith-based engagements.
Rose brings more than 20 years of stakeholder engagement experience from her work in the United Nations and civil society. Rose was previously the Country Director of the Joint UN Program on AIDS in Eswatini where she led and coordinated the HIV response on behalf of the World Bank and 11 UN agencies. She led the Eswatini country team in managing risk, and building and expanding partnerships with diverse stakeholders including civil society and faith-based organizations, and parliamentarians. Prior to her Country Director role, Rose served as a Team leader for the World Food Program’s regional office in South Africa where she led a team that provided oversight to WFP’s programs and partnerships in health in 11 countries in Southern Africa. Rose served in various roles at World Vision in Washington, DC, where she worked on partnerships and humanitarian and emergency response efforts, and has worked in Ethiopia, DRC, South Sudan, and Kenya with World Vision and Catholic Relief Services.
