Pauline Irène Nguene is a Cameroonian politician and Minister for Social Affairs. In 2019, she received the distinction of Grand Officer of the Order of Valor. From 1991 to 2009, she successively held the following positions in the Prime Minister's Office: * Attaché (1991-1992); *Government Official Representative (1992-2001); *Technical advisor (2001-2009). In January 2009, she was appointed President of the Support Council for the Implementation of Partnership Contracts, an organization responsible for implementing public-private partnerships in Cameroon. In October 2015, she was appointed Minister of Social Affairs.
Since 2016, Pauline Irène has also been the President of the Board of Directors of the National Center for the Rehabilitation of Persons with Disabilities Cardinal Paul Émile Léger (CNRPH-CPEL). She holds a master's degree in earth sciences from the University of Yaoundé and a specialized graduate degree in oil company management from HEC Montreal, Canada.
