Lida Fitts is the Director of the Sustainable Infrastructure Office at the US Department of Treasury, where she is responsible for supporting the mobilization of private investment into sustainable infrastructure in developing markets globally via the Partnership for Global Infrastructure Investment, and through development of bilateral and multilateral tools. She helps lead development of Just Energy Transition Partnerships and represents the U.S. in the G20 Infrastructure Working Group, OECD Long Term Investment Task Force and the Global Infrastructure Hub. Ms. Fitts has over 20 years of experience in trade and infrastructure development. She led infrastructure project preparation investment strategy for the U.S Trade and Development Agency, where she served as the Regional Director for Sub-Saharan Africa and developed and directed the agency’s largest portfolio of infrastructure project preparation investments. Prior to that, Ms. Fitts managed USTDA’s China program, helping establish successful public-private partnership programs in energy, aviation and health.  Before her U.S. government service, Ms. Fitts led export development programs designed by the US State Department, the World Bank and USAID where she generated tens of millions in export sales for companies around the world. As an Account Executive for LobsenzStevens, she launched companies and technologies into the U.S. market.  Ms. Fitts served in the U.S. Peace Corps in Benin, West Africa.
