Katharine Palmer is the maritime lead at the Climate Champions Team seconded from her role as global head of sustainability for Lloyd's Register and funded by the Lloyd's Register Foundation. With 20 years' experience in the shipping industry she is an established thought leader and expert on environment and sustainability within the maritime value chain. Katharine is a fellow with the IMarEST (Institute of Marine Engineers, Scientists and Technologists) and an elected trustee on the Board of the Sustainable Shipping initiative.
