Henriqueta has more than 20 years of experience in microfinance, rural finance advisory services, and SME development in Mozambique. In CGAP’s Smallholder Diaries, Henriqueta oversaw the research teams working with smallholder families in the northern Rapale District of Mozambique. In addition to extensive work in Mozambique, Ms. Hunguana has also worked in Angola, Cape Verde, Botswana, Zambia and Brazil, where she conducted short term assignments. Prior to joining ICC, Ms. Hunguana was the Executive Director at the Economic Rehabilitation Support Fund (FARE) and worked for the National Institute for Development of Local Industry (IDIL). She is also the Mozambique Country Director of New Faces New Voices, a woman in finance Pan-Africa organization and a Board Member of ACIS, the biggest business association in Mozambique.
