Gabriel Jaime Franco, a native of Medellin, Colombia, is a Member of the Editorial Board of Prometeo and the International Poetry Festival of Medellin. He has published En la Ruta de Dia (1989), La Tierra de la Sal y Reaprendizaje del Alfabeto (National Poetry Prize Fire in Words, 1997). He has been included in the anthologies Five young poets, Dissidence Limbo, Best's meet (Brazil – Colombia), Postal end of the century and Who's Who in Poetry Colombiana.
