Dr. Fatou Diane has had a very successful career within the government for about fifteen years. She was Coordinator of the Promise at the Ministry of Microfinance and Social and Solidarity Economy after important functions at the Ministry of Economy, Finance and Planning as Director of Regulation and Supervision of Decentralized Financial Services (2017-2021), Technical Adviser to the Director General of Planning and Economic Policies (2014-2017), Adviser to the Director of Forecasting (2014-2017), Head of the Division of Economic Synthesis (2009-2014), and Head of the Division of Economic Studies and Policies. Dr. Diane defended her doctoral thesis in Risk Management and Financial Stability in WAEMU countries (co-supervision between Gaston Berger University and the University of the Mediterranean of Aix-Marseille II) on December 15, 2009 in Aix-en-Provence, France, with honorable mention. She holds a DEA in Applied Economics in the field of engineering of economic systems and organizations (2004), a Master 2 in Banking and Financial Econometrics at the Aix Marseille University Paul Cézanne (2005), and a Master in Economics and Management, Option Computerized Management at the Gaston Berger University of Saint-Louis, Senegal (2002-2003).
