N'Guessan is a tech entrepreneur who is defined by her passion for technology and works as a product and innovation specialist. In 2018, N'Guessan launched her startup, BACE Group, and led the development of the BACE API, a secure remote identity verification software using facial recognition to combat online identity fraud and strengthen the digital identity system in Africa. This solution won the Africa Prize of Engineering in 2020 from the Royal Academy of Engineering. She is currently working as an artificial intelligence consultant for the African Union High Level Panel on Emerging Technologies (APET by AUDA-NEPAD) and as a BI & Data science product manager on data-driven Agritech projects in Ghana. She is also one of the co-authors of "The AI Book" published by Wifey and Fintech Circle in 2020, and co-authors of Volume IV of “The rising to the Top” by IFEES (International Federation of Engineering Education Societies) and GEDC (Global Engineering Deans Council). She is one of 80 African women advancing artificial intelligence in Africa and globally, the first African woman to win the Africa Prize Engineering Award (2020), and she received the Excellence Award in disruptive technology awarded by CISO in 2022.
