Abdoulaye Saydou Sow is a native of Ndoucoumane, Senegal. A teacher by training, he was admitted to the ENA (Ecole Nationale d'Administration). He worked in the cabinet of the Ministry of Youth with Aliou Sow and in the presidency as an advisor. Most recently, he served as the Director General of the Center for University Works of Dakar (COUD). Following the last ministerial reshuffle on November 1, 2020, Abdoulaye Saydou Sow was appointed as Minister of Urbanism, Housing and Public Hygiene (MULHP). He has also served as 2nd vice-president of the Senegalese football federation.
