Yvonne Ike is a Managing Director and Head of Sub-Saharan Africa (Ex-RSA) at Bank of America. She has more than 25 years’ experience in the financial services sector and since joining Bank of America (BofA) in September 2014, has established the bank as a leader in providing international financial services in the Sub-Saharan Africa region. Yvonne is an Executive sponsor of the Bank of America Inter-Generational (iGEN) Employee Network. She is passionate about actively contributing to Africa’s development.
In 2017, Yvonne founded Adara Foundation, an NGO that focuses on women, education and entrepreneurship in Africa. In 2020, she joined the Global Advisory Council of Oxford University Business School. Yvonne has received many international awards including being recognised by the Queen of England as one of the top 200 businesswomen in the UK to make a significant impact in society and in 2019 she was also recognised as one of the Top 100 Women CEOs in Africa. Most recently, Yvonne was named on The Africa.com Definitive List of Women CEOs for 2022. The list includes the women executives who run the largest, most complex businesses on the African continent.
