Veronica Nyhan Jones is Global Head of Advisory Services for Infrastructure & Natural Resources at IFC. Her team helps companies share value through delivery of tangible benefits to local stakeholders in emerging markets. She advises clients to operate sustainably in changing environments due to shifts in demographics, and innovations in technology and communications. Veronica incubated IFC's work on water and community concerns in the mining sector and the Financial Valuation Tool for Sustainability Investments. Prior to joining IFC, Veronica worked at the World Bank, the International Youth Foundation, the White House, and the US Department for Health & Human Services. Veronica holds a Master’s degree from Harvard's Kennedy School and was among 2015's 100 Most Influential Women in Mining. She also serves on the World Economic Forum’s Global Future Council for Long-Term Investing, Infrastructure & Development and is an advisor to the Development Partner Institute.
