Tomohiro Hamakawa serves as a Project Manager at Kopernik, managing consulting projects within the advisory service arm. Tomo has spent most of his career working for international development organizations across Asia, Africa and Europe, including the Children’s Investment Fund Foundation. He has a Bachelors in Social Anthropology from Harvard College and a Master in Public Policy from the Harvard Kennedy School. He was a fellow in the Asia Pacific Leadership Program at the East-West Center in Hawaii and served as an Assistant Professor at the University of Tokyo’s Global Leadership Program. Tomo was recently recognized as one of 51 Unsung Heroes of Compassion by His Holiness the Dalai Lama in 2014.
